Root Canal Therapy

A root canal is a procedure where the nerve of a tooth is removed from the tooth and replaced with filling material called gutta-percha. This often occurs when the decay and damage to a tooth is too extensive and has affected the nerve inside the tooth. Root canal therapy is most often followed by a post, build-up, and a crown procedure.
